Please wake me from this Laun-nightmare

I went to the laundrette (”Laundream”) again today and put through all my clothes and when I was folding them I noticed that there were many more stains than there were last time. And that last time I had noticed the same thing…

I rang Marina and asked “is there something I’m missing about the laundrette? It doesn’t seem to do anything more than make my clothes wet…”

I waited for her to stop laughing…

Jehovah’s Witnesses… worldwide

As I was walking home today I saw a Japanese man dressed warmly holding some books standing outside the Yamasa Student Village/Residence Hane. I noticed that he recognised me as a foreigner from a distance and he made his way to intercept my path. I began speaking to him and he handed me a tract and I saw the biblical references on it and asked what denomination he belonged to. In typical Jehovah’s Witness style, it took a bit of asking before he finally admitted to being with the Witnesses.
